Welcome Guests & Registered Members!

Guests and Members alike, welcome to the Podium Assault Community forums!

It is never our goal to replace the uber-forums such as RaceSim Central or iRacing's own Member Forums, but rather to provide a smaller and more intimate set of forums that allows you, our guests and registered members, to interact with each other and the Podium Assault team members far easier than on those megaforums. As you can tell, our forums are in their infancy and are still heavily frequented by mainly the Podium Assault team members, but slowly and surely we are getting our footing out there as a place to post Race Recaps as well as general inquiries about iRacing primarily, but not limited to that amazing simulation.

As an unregistered guest, you can see the main forums that the registered members can see, and you can view every thread that is posted within those forums, as well as being able to see -- but not download -- file attachments within those threads. In a small effort to control bandwidth, since iRacing replays are posted via these forums, we have restricted file attachment downloads to registered members only. As a guest, that is the only benefit you are missing out on, so please head on over and sign up for the forums ASAP and you will be able to download both our iRacing replays and setups as they are posted.

Oh yeah, you can also post file attachments as well! So if you have a replay to share, or a setup you'd like stored someplace safe...our forums can do that for you. We only ask that full race replays be stored elsewhere and not on the forums as an attachment. They are immense in size, and hotlaps are welcome and possibly a few laps of an amazing race here or there, but be respectful to the allowance we're giving. Due to the small size of the setup files, you could post until your heart is content and never get near the limit we impose. :)

If you fear registration, that is understandable in todays day and age of SPAMbots trolling the internet. We have taken pretty excellent precautions in order to hopefully eliminate the 'threat' of having your email address logged & spammed via hexadecimal encoding. If you were to view one of our member profiles where the email is public (it is a toggleable option) you will see that the actual HTML coding has been scrambled for the email only.

Also, Registered members of the forums have the ability to change their Display Name (found in the Profile section, under Account and Settings) to whatever they see fit. While iRacing requires you to use your full name, we at the Podium Assault forums don't. If you want to register as PODIUMassaultFAN0505 and then later change your display name to 'Bob Bobertson' (or vice versa, registering with your name and then going under an alias) then feel free to do so.

These forums are a place to interact with not only each other, but also the Podium Assault team members. As a registered member, you are alloted 100 Personal Messages to send to any of the other forum mmebers. So if you have a question about a setup, replay, or racing line and want to contact the forum member directly you now have the means to do so -- quickly and easily.

Thank you for visiting the Podium Assault Community forums, we hope to see you around here as well as the race track!

Much Appreciated,
Podium Assault Race Team
